Since I went on my binge read of this series back in March of last year, (see https://mybecky.blog/2021/03/ for my reviews) I really feel I ought to keep up.  So I’ve been looking forward to this novel for about 6 months.  Same author, same reader and generally same the setting and characters.  Yay!!!

But I sure did get reminded that you have to PAY ATTENTION to get involved because Jackson Lamb, Diana Taverner, Claude Whelan, plus Shirley Dander and Roddy Ho along with  Louisa Guy and Lech Wicinski and Catherine Standish are all in here along with a new arrival to Slow Horses, Ashley Khan. But don’t let’s forget John Bachelor, the “milkman.”

This book is so funny and consuming and well written it took me 3 days to finish it and I didn’t want it to end. But please, please, please read them in order to get the complexity of the characters.
